Educational Q&A

True dharmic excellence combines generosity with responsible stewardship, compassion with active beneficence, and devotion with mastery over the senses—so that giving arises from discipline and noble character rather than impulse.

Indra (Śakra) describes the qualities of exemplary people, praising their charity, noble conduct, compassion, graciousness, straightforwardness, steadfast devotion, and self-control as a model of righteous life.
