समरेषु च विक्रान्तं पर्याप्त॑ तन्निदर्शनम्‌ । पहले मैं जो पुरुषार्थ प्रकट कर चुका हूँ

Transliteration

samareṣu ca vikrāntaṃ paryāptaṃ tan-nidarśanam |

Translation

Bhishma dit : « Quant à ma vaillance dans les combats, un seul exemple suffit comme preuve. Tu connais mieux que quiconque l’effort viril et la résolution que j’ai déjà manifestés ; maintes fois, au cours de nombreuses guerres, tu as été témoin de mon courage. Ainsi, en cet instant, une seule illustration suffira. »
