क्षमस्व नचिरादिन्द्र त्वामप्युपगमिष्यति । इन्द्र! मैं सदा सावधान रहता था
kṣamasva nacirād indra tvām apy upagamiṣyati |
Bhīṣma dit : «Pardonne-moi, ô Indra. Bientôt, le Temps s’abattra sur toi aussi. Bien que je fusse toujours en éveil, si le Temps implacable a pu me frapper, il te frappera toi également sans tarder. Pardonne-moi d’avoir énoncé cette vérité amère.»
