बलीन्द्रसंवादः — Kāla, Anityatā, and the Limits of Agency
Mahābhārata 12.217
यथागमं च गत्वा वै बुद्धया तत्रैव बुद्धयते । देहान्तं कश्चिदन्वास्ते भावितात्मा निराश्रयम्
yathāgamaṃ ca gatvā vai buddhyā tatraiva buddhyate | dehāntaṃ kaścid anvāste bhāvitātmā nirāśrayam ||
Bhishma dit : En suivant la discipline enseignée par les Écritures, quelques chercheurs—rares entre tous—progressent degré par degré et, par la puissance purifiée de l’intellect, s’éveillent là même à la réalisation directe de Brahman. Un tel yogin—dont l’être intérieur a été formé et affiné—demeure sans dépendre d’appuis extérieurs, établi dans cette Réalité qui se suffit à elle-même, et il y demeure jusqu’au terme de la vie du corps.
