Guru’s Instruction on Dream, Mind, Guṇas, and Knowing Brahman
Svapna–Manas–Guṇa–Brahma-vicāra
पुरा दानवमुख्या हि क्रोधलोभसमन्विता: । बलेन मत्ता: शतशो नरकाद्या महासुरा:,पूर्वकालमें नरकासुर आदि सैकड़ों मुख्य-मुख्य दानव क्रोध और लोभके वशीभूत हो बलके मदसे मतवाले हो गये थे
purā dānavamukhyā hi krodhalobhasamanvitāḥ | balena mattāḥ śataśo narakādyā mahāsurāḥ ||
Bhishma dit : «Dans les temps anciens, les plus éminents parmi les Dānavas, dominés par la colère et l’avidité, s’enivrèrent de leur propre puissance. Par centaines, de grands Asuras tels que Naraka et d’autres sombrèrent ainsi dans l’excès de l’orgueil.»
