मरीचे: कश्यप: पुत्रस्तस्य द्वे नामनी स्मृते । अरिष्टनेमिरित्येके कश्यपेत्यपरे विदु:,मरीचिके पुत्र जो कश्यप हैं, उनके भी दो नाम माने गये हैं। कुछ लोग उन्हें अरिष्टनेमि कहते हैं और दूसरे लोग उन्हें कश्यपके नामसे जानते हैं
marīceḥ kaśyapaḥ putras tasya dve nāmanī smṛte | ariṣṭanemir ity eke kaśyapety apare viduḥ ||
Bhishma dit : Le fils de Marichi est Kashyapa. La tradition se souvient qu’il est connu sous deux noms : certains l’appellent Ariṣṭanemi, tandis que d’autres le reconnaissent sous le nom de Kashyapa.
