Yoga, Nārāyaṇa as Supreme Principle, and the Emanation of Categories
Sāṅkhya-Yoga Outline
This line is a colophon rather than a doctrinal verse: it frames the preceding material as Mokṣadharma—dharma oriented toward liberation—and identifies its pedagogical form as a Manu–Bṛhaspati dialogue, emphasizing authoritative instruction on ethical and spiritual aims.
Bhīṣma’s discourse (as presented in the Śānti Parva) reaches a formal chapter boundary: the text announces that the chapter concerning the Manu–Bṛhaspati conversation has concluded, marking a transition point to the next unit of instruction.
