Keśava-tattva-kathana
On the Principle of Keśava: Cosmogony and Divine Epithets
स्वयम्भुवमथो देवा अभिवाद्य ततो<ब्रुवन् । जापकानां विशिष्ट तु प्रत्युत्थानं समाहितम्
svayambhuvam atho devā abhivādya tato ’bruvan | jāpākānāṁ viśiṣṭaṁ tu pratyutthānaṁ samāhitam ||
Bhīṣma dit : Alors les dieux, après s’être inclinés devant Svayambhū (Brahmā), dirent : « Seigneur, par ton geste posé et recueilli—te levant pour accueillir ce pratiquant du japa—il apparaît clairement que ceux qui se vouent à la récitation sacrée obtiennent un fruit supérieur même à celui des yogins. »
