Bharadvāja–Bhṛgu Dialogue
One should model one’s conduct on exemplary adherence to satya (truth) and dharma (righteous duty): having understood what is right, act accordingly and behave in a manner appropriate to one’s role—especially for a ruler.
Bhishma addresses a king and refers to an earlier episode in which a father, after hearing his son’s words, performed conduct aligned with truth and dharma. Bhishma then urges the king to act in the same spirit—steadfast in satya-dharma and behaving suitably.
