Transliteration

Gautama uvāca: Madhyadeśa-prasūto 'haṁ vāso me śabarālaye | Śūdrā punarbhūr bhāryā me satyam etad bravīmi te ||

Translation

Gautama dit : « Ô roi des Rākṣasas, je suis né au Madhyadeśa, mais je demeure dans la maison d’un Śabara. Mon épouse est une femme Śūdra, et elle a déjà été mariée auparavant. Je te dis cela en toute vérité. »
