On the Faults of Discontent and the Discipline of Detachment

ते जनास्तां गति यान्ति नाविद्वांसो5ल्पचेतस: । नाबुद्धयो नातपस: सर्व बुद्धौ प्रतेष्ठितम्
Translation
On ne parvient pas à cette voie par l’ignorant au cœur étroit; ni par celui qui manque de discernement, ni par celui qui est dépourvu d’austérité. Car tout repose sur la buddhi, l’intelligence. Ainsi, seuls l’homme sage et l’ascète obtiennent cette destinée; l’insensé, l’esprit obtus, celui qui n’a pas de jugement pur et celui qui est vide de tapas—n’y parvient pas.
