मृत्यु-काल-प्रबोधनम् (Instruction on Mortality, Time, and Truth) — Mahābhārata, Śānti-parva 169
त्वद्दर्शनात् तु विप्रेन्द्र कृतार्थो 5स्म्यद्य वै द्विज । आवां हि सह यास्याव: श्वो वसस्वाद्य शर्वरीम्
tvaddarśanāt tu viprendra kṛtārtho 'smy adya vai dvija | āvām hi saha yāsyāvaḥ śvo vasasvādya śarvarīm ||
Bhīṣma dit : «Ô le meilleur des brāhmaṇas, en te voyant aujourd’hui, je sens que mon dessein est accompli. Ô deux-fois-né, demeure ici pour cette nuit ; demain, à l’aube, nous partirons ensemble.»
