On Gratitude and Friendship Ethics
पतत्रिमृगमीनाश्च प्लवड्राश्न महोरगा: । तथा पक्षिगणा: सर्वे जलस्थलविचारिण:
patatrimṛgamīnāś ca plavaḍrāśn mahoragāḥ | tathā pakṣigaṇāḥ sarve jalasthalavicāriṇaḥ ||
Bhīṣma dit : «Oiseaux, bêtes et poissons ; créatures des eaux et grands serpents ; et de même toutes les volées d’oiseaux qui vont entre l’eau et la terre — ces classes d’êtres surgirent au fil de la création».
