अज्ञान–लोभयोः परस्परहेतुत्वम्
Mutual Causality of Ignorance and Greed
पुण्यदेशाभिगमनं पवित्र परमं स्मृतम् । अत्राप्युदाहरन्तीमां गाथां गीतां ययातिना,पुण्य तीर्थोकी यात्रा करना भी परम पवित्र माना गया है। इस विषयमें विज्ञ पुरुष राजा ययातिकी गायी हुई इस गाथाका उदाहरण दिया करते हैं
puṇyadeśābhigamanaṃ pavitra paramaṃ smṛtam | atrāpy udāharantīmāṃ gāthāṃ gītāṃ yayātinā |
Śaunaka dit : « Se rendre en une contrée sainte est tenu pour une purification suprême. À ce propos même, les hommes instruits citent en exemple une gāthā jadis chantée par le roi Yayāti. »
