Dasyu-maryādā and Buddhi-guided Rāja-nīti (दस्युमर्यादा तथा बुद्धिप्रधान-राजनीति)
भार्या देशो5थ मित्राणि पुत्रसम्बन्धिबान्धवा: । एते सर्वे गुणवति धर्मनेत्रे महीपतौ
bhāryā deśo 'tha mitrāṇi putra-sambandhi-bāndhavāḥ | ete sarve guṇavati dharma-netre mahīpatau |
Brahmadatta dit : Lorsque le souverain d’un pays est vertueux et guidé par le dharma, alors l’épouse, le pays, les amis, les fils et les parents liés par la parenté — tous prospèrent et se trouvent dotés de bonnes qualités. La droiture du roi devient l’axe moral qui élève le caractère et le bien-être de tout l’entourage et du royaume.
