Dasyu-maryādā and Buddhi-guided Rāja-nīti (दस्युमर्यादा तथा बुद्धिप्रधान-राजनीति)
गृहं क्षेत्राणि मित्राणि स्वदेश इति चापरे । इत्येवमवसीदन्ति नरा बुद्धिविपर्यये
gṛhaṁ kṣetrāṇi mitrāṇi svadeśa iti cāpare | ityevam avasīdanti narā buddhiviparyaye ||
Brahmadatta dit : « Certains ne pensent qu’à “ma maison, mes champs, mes amis, ma patrie”. Quand l’intellect se renverse et se déforme, les hommes s’enfoncent dans l’abattement, accablés par de telles préoccupations possessives, et demeurent ainsi sans cesse malheureux. »
