Dasyu-maryādā and Buddhi-guided Rāja-nīti (दस्युमर्यादा तथा बुद्धिप्रधान-राजनीति)
सर्वत्र रमते प्राज्ञ: सर्वत्र च विराजते | न विभीषयते कश्रचिद् भीषितो न बिभेति च
sarvatra ramate prājñaḥ sarvatra ca virājate | na vibhīṣayate kaścid bhīṣito na bibheti ca ||
Brahmadatta dit : Le sage trouve la quiétude partout et rayonne de dignité en toute situation. Nul ne peut véritablement l’intimider ; et même menacé, il ne cède pas à la peur. La leçon morale est que la stabilité intérieure née de la sagesse rend l’homme sans crainte et inébranlable au milieu des vicissitudes.
