Dasyu-maryādā and Buddhi-guided Rāja-nīti (दस्युमर्यादा तथा बुद्धिप्रधान-राजनीति)
तयोरर्थ कृतज्ञा सा खेचरी पूजनी सदा । समुद्रतीरं सा गत्वा आजहार फलद्धयम्,आकाशमें विचरनेवाली वह कृतज्ञ पूजनी चिड़िया प्रतिदिन समुद्रतटपर जाकर वहाँसे उन दोनों बच्चोंके लिये दो फल ले आया करती थी
tayor artha-kṛtajñā sā khecarī pūjanī sadā | samudra-tīraṁ sā gatvā ājahāra phala-dvayam ||
Bhīṣma dit : Reconnaissante de ce qu’on avait fait pour elle, l’oiseau qui parcourait le ciel—toujours digne de vénération—se rendait chaque jour au rivage de la mer et rapportait deux fruits pour les deux enfants.
