Dasyu-maryādā and Buddhi-guided Rāja-nīti (दस्युमर्यादा तथा बुद्धिप्रधान-राजनीति)
एवं वसेह ससस््नेहा यथाकाममहिंसिता । यत् कृतं तत् तु मे क्षान्तं त्वं च वै क्षम पूजनि
evaṁ vaseha sa-snehā yathākāmaṁ ahiṁsitā | yat kṛtaṁ tat tu me kṣāntaṁ tvaṁ ca vai kṣama pūjani pūjanī ||
Brahmadatta dit : «Demeure ici ainsi—avec affection et selon ton désir—sans craindre aucun mal. Tout ce que tu as fait, je l’ai pardonné. Et tout ce que j’ai pu faire, toi aussi pardonne-le, ô digne d’honneur.»
