Draupadī’s Exhortation on Rājadharma and Daṇḍa (द्रौपद्याः राजधर्मोपदेशः)
त्वं तु सर्वा महीं त्यक्त्वा कुरुषे स््वयमापदम् । ये सब लोग आपको समझानेका प्रयत्न कर रहे हैं
tvaṃ tu sarvāṃ mahīṃ tyaktvā kuruṣe svayam āpadam |
Vaiśampāyana dit : «Et pourtant, toi, abandonnant la terre entière — la souveraineté du monde — tu fais tomber le malheur sur ta propre tête. Bien des gens s’efforcent de te conseiller, mais tu ne les écoutes pas ; ce que je dis en cet instant n’est pas mensonge. En renonçant au royaume de toute la terre, tu te fabriques délibérément l’infortune.»
