Draupadī’s Exhortation on Rājadharma and Daṇḍa (द्रौपद्याः राजधर्मोपदेशः)
स त्वं भ्रातृनिमान् दृष्टवा प्रतिनन्दस्व भारत । ऋषभानिव सम्मत्तान् गजेन्द्रानूर्जितानिव,भारत! मतवाले साँड़ों और बलशाली गजराजोंके समान अपने इन भाइयोंको देखकर आप इनका अभिनन्दन कीजिये
sa tvaṁ bhrātṝn imān dṛṣṭvā pratinandasva bhārata | ṛṣabhān iva sammattān gajendrān ūrjitān iva bhārata ||
Vaiśampāyana dit : «Ainsi, ô Bhārata, après avoir vu ces frères qui sont les tiens, salue-les et rends-leur honneur. Ils sont tels des taureaux fiers et ardents, tels de puissants seigneurs éléphants, pleins de vigueur.»
