स्मरन् पुत्रमरण्ये वै नष्टं परमदुर्मना: । भूरिद्युम्नपिता श्रीमान् वीरद्युम्नो महायशा:
smaran putram araṇye vai naṣṭaṃ paramadurmanāḥ | bhūridyumnapitā śrīmān vīradyumno mahāyaśāḥ ||
Bhīṣma dit : Se souvenant de son fils perdu dans la forêt, il sombra dans un abattement total. Cet homme illustre et de grande renommée était Vīradyumna, le père fortuné de Bhūridyumna, accablé d’une douleur aiguë par la séparation.
