Durgātitaraṇa—Conduct for Crossing Difficulties (दुर्गातितरणम्)

ये दम्भान्नाचरन्ति सम येषां वृत्तिश्व संयता । विषयांश्व निगृह्लन्ति दुर्गाण्यतितरन्ति ते

ye dambhān nācaranti samaṁ yeṣāṁ vṛttiś ca saṁyatā | viṣayāṁś ca nigṛhṇanti durgāṇy atitaranti te ||

Bhīṣma dit : « Ceux qui ne pratiquent point l’hypocrisie, dont le mode de vie est réglé et contenu, et qui répriment l’attrait des objets des sens ainsi que les désirs qui s’élèvent—ceux-là franchissent les épreuves. »
