Upāya-dharma and Senāyoga: Expedient Ethics & Army Deployment
इहैव ते निवर्तन्तां ये च केचन भीरव: । ये घातयेयु: प्रवरं कुर्वाणास्तुमुलं प्रति
ihaiva te nivartantāṁ ye ca kecana bhīravāḥ | ye ghātayeyuḥ pravaraṁ kurvāṇās tumulaṁ prati ||
Bhīṣma dit : «Que ceux qui ont peur rebroussent chemin dès ici. Qu’il ne demeure que ceux qui, au cœur du choc redoutable de la bataille, sont capables d’abattre le plus grand champion du camp adverse.»
