तस्मात्‌ तदा योजयेत परेषां व्यसने5थवा । एते हि योगा: सेनाया: प्रशस्ता: परबाधने

Transliteration

tasmāt tadā yojayet pareṣāṁ vyasane ’thavā | ete hi yogāḥ senāyāḥ praśastāḥ parabādhane ||

Translation

Bhīṣma dit : Ainsi, il faut lancer l’expédition à l’instant même, ou bien au moment où l’ennemi est tombé dans la détresse ; c’est précisément alors qu’il convient de frapper. Car ce sont là les ouvertures stratégiques les plus louées pour une armée, lorsque le but est de contenir et de harceler l’adversaire.
