ऋषिसमागमः — युधिष्ठिरस्य शोकवर्णनम्

तेडभिगम्य महात्मान: पूजिताश्न यथाविधि । आसनेषु महाहेंषु विविशुस्ते महर्षय:,वे महात्मा महर्षि वहाँ पहुँचकर विधिपूर्वक पूजित हो राजाके दिये हुए बहुमूल्य आसनोंपर विराजमान हुए
teḍabhigamya mahātmānaḥ pūjitāś ca yathāvidhi | āsaneṣu mahārheṣu viviśus te maharṣayaḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana dit : S’étant approchés de ces sages magnanimes et les ayant honorés comme il se doit selon le rite prescrit, les rishis prirent place sur les sièges de grand prix que le roi avait offerts. La scène souligne l’ordre éthique de l’hospitalité : révérence envers les dignes, juste conduite rituelle et maintien du dharma par un accueil respectueux.
