ऋषिसमागमः — युधिष्ठिरस्य शोकवर्णनम्

चतुर्णाम भयं देहि काम युध्यस्व फाल्गुनम् । तब कुन्तीने चौड़ी छातीवाले कर्णसे फिर कहा--*“बेटा! तुम इच्छानुसार अर्जुनसे युद्ध करो; किंतु अन्य चार भाइयोंको अभय दे दो”
caturṇām abhayaṃ dehi kāmaṃ yudhyasva phālgunam |
Kuntī dit de nouveau à Karṇa, à la poitrine large : «Mon fils, accorde l’intrépidité aux quatre autres frères. Ensuite, si tu le veux, combats Phālguna (Arjuna) selon ton désir.»
