रणभूमिवर्णनम् — Devāsuropama-yuddha and the ‘River’ Metaphor of the Battlefield
अभ्ययु: कौरवान् राजन् योत्स्यमाना: समन्ततः । राजन! इसी प्रकार उस महासमरमें पाण्डव भी अपनी सेनाका व्यूह बनाकर सब ओरसे युद्धके लिये उद्यत हो कौरवोंपर चढ़ आये
abhyayuḥ kauravān rājan yotsyamānāḥ samantataḥ |
Sañjaya dit : « Ô Roi, les Kaurava avancèrent de toutes parts, avides de combattre. De même, au cœur de cette grande bataille, les Pāṇḍava, après avoir rangé leur armée en ordre de bataille, se ruèrent sur les Kaurava de tous côtés, entièrement prêts au combat. »
