Shloka 293

स मया समनुप्राप्तो नास्मि शोच्य: कथंचन । “मैं अमित तेजस्वी श्रीकृष्णके अद्भुत प्रभावको मानता हुआ भी कभी उनकी प्रेरणासे अच्छी तरह पालन किये हुए क्षत्रियधर्मसे विचलित नहीं हुआ। मैंने उस धर्मका फल प्राप्त किया है; अतः किसी प्रकार भी मैं शोकके योग्य नहीं हूँ

sa mayā samanupprāpto nāsmi śocyaḥ kathaṃcana |

Sañjaya dit : «Cette fin est venue sur moi ; pourtant, je ne suis nullement digne de lamentation. Car je ne me suis pas écarté du devoir du kṣatriya, accompli comme il se doit—en pleine conscience de la puissance merveilleuse et de la conduite de Śrī Kṛṣṇa—et j’ai obtenu le fruit de ce dharma. Il n’y a donc aucune raison de s’affliger pour moi.»
