अन्तरिक्षचर: श्रीमान् कलशं गृहा[ देवल: । यही सोचते हुए श्रीमान् देवलमुनि कलश हाथमें लेकर आकाशमार्गसे समुद्रतटकी ओर चल दिये
antarikṣacaraḥ śrīmān kalaśaṃ gṛhā devalaḥ | iti cintayan śrīmān devalamuniḥ kalaśaṃ hastena gṛhītvā ākāśamārgeṇa samudrataṭaṃ prati jagāma |
Vaiśampāyana dit : Le sage illustre Devala, se mouvant dans les airs, prit un kalaśa, une cruche d’eau. Ayant ainsi réfléchi, le vénérable muni Devala, tenant la cruche en sa main, s’engagea par la voie aérienne vers le rivage de l’océan.
