शल्यस्य सेनापत्याभ्युपगमः | Śalya’s Acceptance of Command

न ध्रुवं सुखमस्तीति कुतो राष्ट्र कुतो यश: । इह कीर्तिविधातव्या सा च युद्धेन नान्यथा
Translation
Nulle félicité n’est assurée ni durable; comment donc le royaume et la renommée pourraient-ils demeurer stables? En ce monde, il faut acquérir la kīrti, la gloire du nom, et cette gloire ne s’obtient que par la guerre, et par nul autre moyen.
