शल्यस्य सेनापत्याभ्युपगमः | Śalya’s Acceptance of Command
यदा च द्रौपदी क्लिष्टा मद्विनाशाय दुःखिता । स्थण्डिले नित्यदा शेते यावद् वैरस्य यातनम्
yadā ca draupadī kliṣṭā madvināśāya duḥkhitā | sthaṇḍile nityadā śete yāvad vairasya yātanam ||
Sañjaya dit : «Et depuis que Draupadī a été outragée et accablée, elle demeure dans la douleur, résolue à ma perte. Jour après jour, elle s’étend sur la terre nue, endurant la rigueur de son vœu, jusqu’à ce que le tourment de l’inimitié soit pleinement acquitté.»
