Transliteration

Janamejaya uvāca: atyadbhutam idaṁ brahman śrutavān asmi tattvataḥ | abhiṣekaṁ kumārasya vistareṇa yathāvidhi ||

Translation

Janamejaya dit : « Ô brahmane, j’ai maintenant entendu—en toute vérité et dans le plein détail—le récit merveilleusement prodigieux de la consécration (abhiṣeka) du Prince, accomplie selon le rite prescrit. J’ai reçu cette narration comme il convient : dans la vérité et dans l’ampleur. »
