Adhyāya 33: Rauhiṇeya (Balarāma) is welcomed and takes his seat to witness the gadā-engagement
भीमसेन उवाच मधुसूदन मा कार्षीविषादं यदुनन्दन
bhīmasena uvāca: madhusūdana mā kārṣīr viṣādaṁ yadunandana
Bhīmasena dit : « Ô meurtrier de Madhu, ô joie des Yadu, ne cède pas au découragement. »
भीमसेन उवाच
Do not surrender to viṣāda (despondency). Even amid calamity, one should preserve steadiness of mind so that dharma-guided action and sound counsel remain possible.
During the events of Śalya Parva, Bhīma addresses Kṛṣṇa with honorific epithets and urges him not to fall into despair, reinforcing morale and resolve in the ongoing crisis of the war.
