पार्थपार्षतयो श्वान्ये जगृहुस्तत्र नामनी । वे समस्त सैनिक भी भीमसेन और धूृष्टद्युम्मका डटकर सामना करने लगे। दूसरे बहुत- से योद्धा वहाँ उन दोनोंके नाम ले-लेकर ललकारने लगे

Transliteration

pārthapārṣatayau śvāny e jagṛhus tatra nāmanī |

Translation

Sañjaya dit : Là, des guerriers s’emparèrent des noms de Pārtha (Arjuna) et de Pārṣata (Dhṛṣṭadyumna) et les crièrent à pleine voix, les défiant ouvertement. Toute l’armée, campée avec fermeté, s’avança pour affronter Bhīmasena et Dhṛṣṭadyumna, tandis que bien d’autres combattants répétaient sans cesse leurs noms, jetant quolibets et sommations dans la fièvre du combat.
