Unrestrained Battle Description and Śakuni’s Rear Assault
घोररूपमसंवार्य निर्मर्यादमवर्तत । जैसे देहधारी जीवात्माका पाँचों इन्द्रियोंके साथ युद्ध हो रहा हो, उसी प्रकार उन पाँचों भाइयोंके साथ कृपाचार्यका युद्ध हो रहा था। धीरे-धीरे वह युद्ध अत्यन्त घोर, अनिवार्य और अमर्यादित हो गया
ghorarūpam asaṃvārya nirmaryādam avartata |
Sañjaya dit : La bataille devint terrifiante—irrésistible et hors de toute mesure. Comme un être incarné qui lutte contre les cinq sens, ainsi Kṛpācārya combattait les cinq frères ; et peu à peu l’affrontement devint d’une horreur extrême, inévitable et sans retenue, montrant comment la guerre ronge la maîtrise de soi et les limites du dharma.
