Adhyāya 6: Śibira-dvāra-sthita Bhūta-varṇana and Aśvatthāmā’s Śaraṇāgati to Mahādeva
नान्यत्र दैवादुद्यन्तुमिह शक््यं कथंचन । सो5हमद्य महादेवं प्रपद्ये शरणं विभुम्
nānyatra daivād udyantum iha śakyaṃ kathaṃcana | so 'ham adya mahādevaṃ prapadye śaraṇaṃ vibhum ||
Sañjaya dit : «Ici, nul effort ne peut véritablement réussir, d’aucune manière, sinon par la volonté du destin. C’est pourquoi, aujourd’hui, je prends refuge auprès du puissant Mahādeva, le Seigneur qui pénètre tout, et je demande sa protection.»
