न चैतदभिजानामि चिन्तयन्नपि सर्वथा । ध्रुवं येयमधर्मे मे प्रवृत्ता कलुषा मति:

Transliteration

na caitad abhijānāmi cintayann api sarvathā | dhruvaṁ yeyam adharme me pravṛttā kaluṣā matiḥ ||

Translation

Sañjaya dit : «Quand bien même je réfléchirais de toutes les manières, je ne puis reconnaître qui c’est. Assurément, mon esprit souillé, tourné vers l’adharma, a fait naître cette conséquence effroyable comme un fruit déjà décrété.»
