कृपोपदेशः — द्रौणेरनिद्रा च
Kṛpa’s Counsel and Drauṇi’s Sleepless Resolve
“इस समय जो क्रोध उत्पन्न हुआ है, इसे मैं स्वयं भी रोक नहीं सकता। इस संसारमें किसी भी ऐसे पुरुषको नहीं देख रहा हूँ, जो मुझे क्रोधसे दूर हटा दे ।।
idānīṁ yo 'yaṁ krodhaḥ samutpannaḥ, tam ahaṁ svayam api na śaknomi nivārayitum | asmin loke nāhaṁ kañcid api tādṛśaṁ puruṣaṁ paśyāmi yo māṁ krodhāt nivartayet || tathaiva niścitā buddhir eṣā sādhumatā mama | vārtikaiḥ kathyamānas tu mitrāṇāṁ me parābhavaḥ ||
Kṛpa dit : « La colère qui s’est levée en moi en cet instant, je ne puis la contenir, même par mon propre effort. En ce monde, je ne vois personne qui puisse me détourner de la fureur. Et ma résolution demeure arrêtée ; à mon jugement, c’est la voie juste. Pourtant, à mesure que j’entends les rapports et les propos, je suis ramené au souvenir de la défaite et de l’humiliation de mes amis. »
