Indra’s Radiant Assembly Hall
विक्रमैश्व महात्मानं बलवृत्रनिषू्दनम् | इतना ही नहीं, वे स्तुति, मंगलपाठ और पराक्रम-सूचक कर्मोंके गायनद्वारा बल और वृत्रनामक असुरोंके नाशक महात्मा इन्द्रका स्तवन करते हैं
vikramaiś ca mahātmānaṃ balavṛtranisūdanaṃ | stuti-maṅgalapāṭha-parākrama-sūcaka-karmagāyanaiś ca mahātmānam indraṃ stuvanti ||
Nārada dit : « Et en rappelant des hauts faits de vaillance, en récitant des hymnes de louange et des bénédictions de bon augure, ils exaltent Indra au grand cœur — le pourfendeur des asuras Bala et Vṛtra. Ce faisant, ils affermissent un ordre moral où la force est célébrée lorsqu’elle sert à protéger le monde et à vaincre les puissances de destruction. »
