विस्तीर्णा योजनशतं शतमध्यर्धमायता । वैहायसी कामगमा पञ्चयोजनमुच्छिता,उसकी लंबाई डेढ़ सौ और चौड़ाई सौ योजनकी है। वह आकाशगमें विचरनेवाली और इच्छाके अनुसार तीव्र या मन्द गतिसे चलनेवाली है। उसकी ऊँचाई भी पाँच योजनकी है

Transliteration

vistīrṇā yojanaśataṁ śatam-adhyardham āyatā | vaihāyasī kāmagamā pañcayojanam ucchritā ||

Translation

Nārada décrit un prodigieux véhicule aérien : il a cent yojanas de largeur et cent cinquante de longueur. Il se meut dans le ciel selon la volonté de celui qui le monte—vite ou lentement, à son gré—et s’élève jusqu’à cinq yojanas de hauteur. Le passage souligne l’ampleur et la puissance extraordinaires de telles ressources royales ou divines, qui, dans le récit de la Sabha, sont signes de prospérité et de prestige, mais aussi épreuves de retenue et de juste usage.
