Renewed Summons to the Dice-Game and Exile Wager
द्रौपहयुवाच कथं त्वेवं वदसि प्रातिकामिन् को हि दीव्येद् भार्यया राजपुत्र: । मूढो राजा द्यूतमदेन मत्तो हाभून्नान्यत् कैतवमस्य किंचित्
drauapady uvāca kathaṃ tv evaṃ vadasi prātikāmin ko hi dīvyed bhāryayā rājaputraḥ | mūḍho rājā dyūtamadena matto hābhūn nānyat kaitavam asya kiṃcit ||
Draupadī dit : «Comment peux-tu parler ainsi, Prātikāmin ? Quel prince jouerait en mettant sa propre épouse en gage ? Le roi Yudhiṣṭhira s’est-il à ce point égaré —ivre de la folie des dés— qu’il ne lui restait plus rien d’autre à offrir aux joueurs ? Ce n’est que tromperie.»
