Vidura’s Censure of Dicing and Warning to the Kurus
श्रुत्वा तस्य त्वरिता निर्विशड्का: प्राज्ञा दक्षास्तां तदा चक्कुराशु । सर्वद्रव्याण्युपजहुः सभायां सहस्रश: शिल्पिनश्वैव युक्ता:,उनकी यह आज्ञा सुनकर तेज काम करनेवाले चतुर एवं बुद्धिमान् सहस्रों शिल्पी निर्भीक होकर काममें लग गये। उन्होंने शीघ्र ही वह सभा तैयार कर दी और उसमें सब तरहकी वस्तुएँ यथास्थान सजा दीं
śrutvā tasya tvaritā nirviśaṅkāḥ prājñā dakṣās tāṃ tadā cakrur āśu | sarvadravyāṇy upajahuḥ sabhāyāṃ sahasraśaḥ śilpinaś caiva yuktāḥ ||
À l’écoute de son ordre, des milliers d’artisans habiles—promptes à l’ouvrage, avisés et sans crainte—se mirent aussitôt au travail. Ils achevèrent rapidement cette salle d’assemblée et y disposèrent, à leur place convenable, toutes sortes d’objets requis.
