Nārada’s Examination of Royal Ethics
प्रत्यक्षदर्शी लोकस्य तिर्यगूर्ध्यमधस्तथा । सांख्ययोगविभागज्ञो निर्विवित्सु: सुरासुरान्ू
pratyakṣadarśī lokasya tiryagūrdhvamadhastathā | sāṅkhyayogavibhāgajño nirvivitsuḥ surāsurān |
Vaiśampāyana dit : « Il percevait directement le monde dans toutes ses dimensions — de part en part, au-dessus et au-dessous. Connaissant les distinctions entre le Sāṅkhya et le Yoga, il demeurait libre du désir de rivaliser avec les dieux ou les démons, se tenant à l’écart de la compétition et de la volonté de domination. »
