संसत्सु समयं कृत्वा धर्मराड्‌ भ्रातृभि: सह | पितृंस्तर्प्प यथान्यायं देवताश्न विशाम्पते,राजन! धर्मराजने अपने भाइयोंके साथ भरी सभामें यह प्रतिज्ञा करके देवताओं तथा पितरोंका विधिपूर्वक तर्पण किया

Transliteration

saṃsatsu samayaṃ kṛtvā dharmarāḍ bhrātṛbhiḥ saha | pitṝṃs tarpayathānyāyaṃ devatāś ca viśāṃpate, rājan |

Translation

Vaiśampāyana dit : Ô seigneur du peuple, ô roi—après avoir prononcé un vœu solennel dans la cour assemblée, Dharmarāja, avec ses frères, offrit dûment les libations prescrites (tarpaṇa) aux dieux et aux pères ancestraux, selon la règle établie.
