Adhyāya 45 — Duryodhana’s Distress, Śakuni’s Counsel, and the Summons for Dyūta

उपस्थितं रथं दृष्टवा ताक्ष्यप्रवरकेतनम्‌ । प्रदक्षिणमुपावृत्य समारुह्मू महामना:

upasthitaṁ rathaṁ dṛṣṭvā tākṣyapravaraketanam | pradakṣiṇam upāvṛtya samāruhya mahāmanāḥ ||

Vaiśaṃpāyana dit : Voyant le char prêt, orné du plus éminent emblème de Tākṣya (Garuḍa), le magnanime le contourna d’abord vers la droite selon le rite de bon augure, puis y monta. Ainsi se mit-il en route, sous le sceau de la révérence et de l’ordre sacré.
