मायासभायां दुर्योधनस्य अवमान-प्रसङ्गः

एष ते नृपते पुत्र: श्रीमान्‌ जातो बलाधिक: । तस्मादस्मान्न भेतव्यमव्यग्र: पाहि वै शिशुम्‌,“राजन! तुम्हारा यह पुत्र श्रीसम्पन्न और महाबली है, अतः तुम्हें इससे डरना नहीं चाहिये। तुम शान्तचित्त होकर इस शिशुका पालन करो

Transliteration

eṣa te nṛpate putraḥ śrīmān jāto balādhikaḥ | tasmād asmān na bhetavyam avyagraḥ pāhi vai śiśum ||

Translation

Bhīṣma dit : «Ô roi, ce fils qui est le tien est né comblé de fortune et d’une force surpassante. Ne crains donc rien à cause de nous ; demeure sans trouble et élève, garde et protège l’enfant avec calme.»
