तप्तचामीकराभेण किड्किणीजालमालिना । मेघनिर्घोषनादेन जैत्रेणामित्रधातिना,वह रथ तपाये हुए सुवर्णके समान कान्तिमान् था। उसमें क्षुद्र घण्टिकाओंसे युक्त झालरें लगी थीं। उसकी घर्घराहट मेघकी गम्भीर गर्जनाके समान जान पड़ती थी। वह शत्रुओंका विघातक और विजय प्रदान करनेवाला था। उसी रथपर सवार हो उसके द्वारा श्रीकृष्णने उस समय यात्रा की

Vaiśampāyana dit : Le char brillait comme de l’or chauffé à blanc, paré d’un réseau de petites clochettes. Son grondement profond résonnait comme le lourd rugissement des nuées d’orage. C’était un char de triomphe, broyant les ennemis—emblème d’une victoire assurée. Monté sur ce char, Śrī Kṛṣṇa se mit en route alors, portant à la fois la splendeur royale et la puissance qui protège une cause lorsqu’elle s’accorde au juste dessein.
