The Commencement of the Great Departure
इत्युक्त्वा धर्मराज: स वासुदेवस्य धीमत: । मातुलस्य च वृद्धस्य रामादीनां तथैव च
ity uktvā dharmarājaḥ sa vāsudevasya dhīmataḥ | mātulasya ca vṛddhasya rāmādīnāṃ tathaiva ca
Vaiśampāyana dit : Après avoir parlé ainsi, Dharmarāja (Yudhiṣṭhira) s’adressa au sage Vāsudeva, ainsi qu’à son oncle maternel déjà âgé, et de même à Rāma et aux autres—se tournant vers les aînés et les parents vénérables avec le respect qui leur est dû, tandis qu’il se préparait à agir selon le dharma.
