Shloka 58

ततो धनुज्यातलबाणनि:स्वनै: प्रसहा[ कृत्वा च रिपून्‌ हतप्रभान्‌ । संछादयित्वा तु कुरून्‌ शरोत्तमै: कपिध्वज: पक्षिवरध्वजश्ष

tato dhanujyātala-bāṇa-niḥsvanaiḥ prasahya kṛtvā ca ripūn hata-prabhān | saṃchādayitvā tu kurūn śarottamaiḥ kapidhvajaḥ pakṣivara-dhvajaś ca ||

Puis, dans le fracas tonnant des cordes bandées, des claquements d’arc et des flèches, ils réduisirent de force l’éclat des guerriers ennemis. Et, en couvrant l’armée des Kuru de traits d’élite, le héros à l’étendard du Singe comme le héros à l’étendard de l’Oiseau voilèrent le champ de bataille, pressant le combat d’une résolution guerrière inflexible.
